Amsoil will have the filters for the 07 models back in stock hopefully this week as well. If anyone needs one, let me know. The filters for the 06 models are in stock as well.

Diff oil filter for the '07... I use the Mobil 1 as well, they have it for the '07. Just go to a local parts store that sells them (advance auto parts) and ask them to look up the correct Mobil 1 part # for the '07.

Just called Mobil. The Mobil 1 Filter for the '07 is: M1-113

06s had a lot smaller filter and the m1-206 is the biggest you can fit in there 07s stock filter isnt as big as the mobil 1 m1-206 either.

I have been special ordering K&N filters as I have heard positive comments about them.

My Dad works at a Mobil dealer (Boyer Petroleum), so I should have easy access

I usually try and fill the new filter with oil before spinning it on. With the stock size ('06) Mobil I noticed I can't fill it too much because I have to tip and contort it to get it on.
How hard was the M1-206 to slide in?
Think you could still fill it half way with oil? More?
TIA

Anyone know if you can relocate the filter to the top side somewhere? Used to do that kinda thing on the race cars.
