Lightwerkz
A link to the site...
http://www.lightwerkz.net/products.htm
I'm not sure if their registered vendors or not, but I know alot of people are interesting in the projector set-up. Just wanted to make members aware of this company.
I have used this company in the past with no problems. They did my BMW M3 lights and my buddy's Audi S4 with no problems.
A little over three weeks ago I sent out my light for my VW R32 to get done, also asked for a quote to get the lights done on the TBSS they gave me a deal because I'm sending two pair of lights out. A deal of $1,900.00 for both done using the same deal I had done with my lights in the past...
Well I recieve the order for my R32 and one of the lights are cracked I spoke to a gentlemen by the name of "Ceaser" and he said that they were broke during shipping nothing we can do about it. I mentioned insurance, he replied saying "insurance is optional and you declined it" I remained calm and told him that it was never offered to me..He then replies "There is nothing we can do about this, its out of our hands, we didn't send the light out to you damaged, your product was damaged during shipping.."
Today UPS drops off my lights to the TBSS with all the parts needed to be installed in a seperate box. So, I call them and they say "we didn't complete those lights because you were unsatisfied with your other order. So, now you can go elsewhere and do them yourself or get them done elsewhere."
I have gone back and forth in writing with these assholes since wednesday and still nothing. I am currently disputing everything with AMEX and hopefully they will settle everything out for me.
I'm just giving everyone a heads up not to use this company. Extremely rude, very un-profesional, and seriously are fucking assholes..

Lightwerks is highly overpriced and I have heard more bad things about them than good things.
Are your lights oem or aftermarket?

This is sad because I have gone over backwards to help Caesar with his BMW in the recent past...I will NOT be using him if I finally do the retrofit...

This company has a bad reputation on the Audi forums as well. But a couple of years ago at Waterfest this Audi had sick lights asked the guy who/where he got them done he then told me lightwerkz and since they were here on the East Coast I figured I try them out and I did. I was extremely happy with the way the lights turned out on the M3. So, I figured I'd do the same to my other vehicles. I would have never thought these guys were this much of assholes.

WTF are they doing to your lights for $1900?
For that much money, you should be able to see like Geordi from Star Trek: Next Generation and shit.

What projectors and accessories do you want installed in your headlights?

Lol it seems over priced but what they were doing was:
For the TBSS they were installing dual TSX Projectors, along with halo rings and DS2 bulbs
also doing a LED "audi style mod"...I'd have 4 running low beams, and 4 running high beams...Yes, I'll get pulled over but the roads are really dark especially going to my parents house..
For the R32 it was projectors along with the audi srips as well.
To me it was a deal because the cost of material alone would be $1,000 +

The sole reason I didn't go to him (big mistake) was because I've done business with this company before and was very happy the way the lights turned out! But live and learn!

Hi Moe
Wanted to register on this forum to clear some things up.
A customer of ours directed me here. I was shocked to find this review of our company since this whole story didn’t ring a bell. I went through our records and do not show any “moe” in our system. In fact, looking through the handful of R32 orders, none of them stood out. I went through each R32 customer individually and searched through emails, no issues matched up with the issues you speak of.
Few things stood out in your review:
We insure each and ever package that leaves our location. It’s our responsibility and we also pack the lights extremely well to ensure no damage occurs. If damage occurs we file a claim and fully process it.
We had no disputes with any credit card company that I can think of.
I don’t personally remember speaking or dealing with you.
We do not offer any LED strips (in the past we have but not recently)
Not sure why we would have recommended dual TSX projectors, as those are single xenon only.
We post all the photos of our work on our website, can you link me to your finished product. Better yet, if you don’t mind, email me a few photos of the cracked light you are talking about.
If indeed a situation did come up between us, I would like to take the time to make it right. However I have no recollection of this event. I am on a personal level with all our customers, so this one is a shocker to me.
Best regards,
- Caesar

At least he's making an effort...better late than never. Hopefully it's not too late for the OP.
