On Jan 19th i ordered an exhaust system and valance from jesse i paid him 1174.00 which has been charged to my credit card account. On feb 3rd he calls me to tell me that he was looking for a new supplier for his systems and he was going to use someone that did work for nascar and it would be early march before i got it he did offer at that time to refund my money but i said no and that i would wait for it . I called on march 6th to check on progress didnt get an answer . I called again on march 9th got jesse this time and he told me that he was working with stainless works for his exhaust and that he would call me on monday march 12th with a date for delivery . Monday march 12 no call from jesse so i called him no answer and i couldnt leave a message . Tue march 13th i called him again this time he answered and i told him i just wanted the valance now and to refund me the difference which was 850.00 he said that would be fine and i should have the valance by sat. and the refund by monday the 19th ,Well now the fun part on sunday the 18th i get an email from paypal saying the refund did not clear the senders bank and they would reprocess it again in 3 to 5 buisness days so i called jesse on the 18th no answer called him on the 19th no answer but he called me back stating that his primary acct. had been hacked and he had another acct that he could use. March 23rd i get another email from paypal stating From: "service@paypal.com" <service@paypal.com>

so now i am trying to call jesse but no answer and it says his mailbox is full and i cant leave a message. I have been very patient but i am starting to get irritated with this whole thing.I`m sure jesse is a good guy but i just want my money I did get my valance on march 20th. I used my wifes credit card thats why the email was sent to her. At this time i hate to put this here but he`s not leaving me any options. Like on espn CMON MAN! $850.00 is hard to come by these days thats like 2 tanks of gas!

If you can't get ahold of him you should have 90 days to file a claim with your credit card company... Go that route

Sucks man but I think putting this in the "scammer members" thread is a little premature. TBM has alot of very happy customers out there. Just my 2cents

I second this, I personally have met and hung out with Jesse, he will make this good.

i`m sure jesse a good guy but what i know is right now i dont have my money and i have given him time to make it right . Put youself in my shoes if someone has promised you 850.00 and twice failed to come through what would you do?

He offered to refund you the moneyto begin with, you declined saying you would wait. So over a month later, while you knew he was looking for new/different supplier.... you don't think "your" money has been floating any expenses? He's not some multi-million dollar corp, he's somebody doing it on the side.

I DO understand the frustration..but I think you are allowing the agreed span of time between placing the order and now wanting the refund cloud your judgement a little. Yes, it's been going on awhile...but the actual request for refund has only been going on for a few days...and if he wasn't trying to refund you the money, you wouldn't be getting any emails from Paypal....

Give it a few days...

OK i will give i little more time, maybe i jumped the gun some and i will appologize for that . like i said before the money is just hard to come buy these days.

I disagree, I think you have acted right, spend 1100 2 1/2 months ago, I woulda been furious. To some people 1100 is alot of money, sometimes it takes a months to save that amount. I think you did the right thing

Don't worry Jesse is a good man and I trust that he will get you your money or your product.

It's reasonable to put up a complaint, and although I wouldn't label Jesse as a "scammer member", I understand your frustration.

And I can relate. I also purchased my exhaust through him. And though it did take a little while to get the product, he followed through and delivered my exhaust in person for free! Just give it some time... Jesse will come through.

I would have the tendency to file a claim with the CC company after all the time and effort you put into coresponding with him or trying anyway.

As far as I've seen, he is good people. This may get you the attention you were desiring to get your money back, just curious as to what the other side of the coin is that caused this issue in the first place....

Two sides to every coin, I'm sure he had a legit reason for it. Though I'm with you in that I don't like having money frozen especially when I might need it.

one thing that worries me is that he hasn`t responded to phone calls ( i did finally get to leave a message on his phone ) i`ve texted him ,no response. If he would just call and explain things to me i would feel better, this not how you run a buisness no matter how big or small it may be. and yes Shawn I do consider it "My" money i have expenses also

You have every right to be pissed off, I'm sure Jesse will make it right but $850 is alot of money to be tied up. I hope your issue gets resolved in a timely manor!

well its been 5 days now and not a word , I have called him everyday cant leave messages but he knows my number and besides if somebody called me 5 days in a row and i didnt recognize the number i think i just might call back to see what they might want .I am hoping our "GOOD GUY" comes through soon, just a phone call explaining things would help. I hope i dont have to pay $1825 for a $975 SW exhaust, i`m waiting impatiently.....
