I agree with matt, a tad high on duration. But with a 4000 converter it would haul ass.

Thats pretty close to what I ran, with all the supporting mods and a sstb4000 converter.
It hauled ass but is not for the faint of heart.

This sounds like a grand idea, what a well suited all around cam for DD needs and weekend warrior!
No need for converter, no need to check PTV clearance no need for a tune!
If you can sense the sarcasm building here. It seems more often then late people are just searching for donkey dick cams to be the end all, be all for mods. This is not the case.

I think advertisement does not help people looking to buy a cam either, when a vendor posts "gains 40-50hp with this cam" They don't mention you just lost 70lbft of torque from 2500-4500RPM to gain that 40hp at 6500rpm.

Always be careful of looking at peak numbers when under the curve matters more.

sorry for the delayed reply, i'm deployed right now. but here is what i'm looking at.
http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/c...csid=1092&sb=2
this cam has the same powerband as the cam I mentioned. and this cam is roughly the same specs as the rob style and attitude.
now look at the one i mentioned cam card below. says torque for cathedral heads, and same power band as the xer 224/230.
http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/c...csid=1403&sb=0
theres also this one which looks even better for our trucks
http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/c...csid=1402&sb=0
what do you guys think, I think i'm confused now. i hope the links work.
