Your better off sending your tcase to them...
The tcase input is not a shaft more a sleeve! The trans output slides into the tcase.
You also have the housing that bolts the trans to the tcase...

I looked into this about two years back and ran into a brick wall mating the two!

Without the power my truck would be a dog w/ my current setup. 4L80e is the way to go to be honest... I'd hate for you to get the trans in and not like it. I'm just trying to point out the negative... No doubt a 400 is a great setup for power

Kurt's truck is super fun to drive, but not fun to drive/commute in.

lets bring this back from the dead. i have a friend with a TH400 i can get for dirt cheap in good condition. will my drive shaft mate up or do i need a new tail shaft if so where can i get it? im 2wd btw ive decided to go the way of the TH400 for mine mainly cuz of cost and i need a new trans like now cuz mine is slipping bad
im full bolt ons with a attitude cam, spraying a 200 shot with stand alone fuel system running c16 future plains are custom front mount turbo, and stroker. i figure put a stock TH400 in for now then later on get it built when i do the turbos.
most of my driving is city and rural areas under 30mph highway is very rare for me so i think ill be fine with the 3 speed
also what all would need done to the tune? i have hp tuners and am kinda handy with it but still learning just tuned my gfs aftermarket turbo 2.4 solstice and it turned out pretty good so if its small stuff just like turning things off ill try n do it myself to save the coin

Right! 7 or 8mpg on the highway is crazy... Just have to decide is it a race truck (TH400. Less money) or a street truck (4l80. More money.). Larry's Procharged TBSS is about to break 1000RWHP on his 4l80...
Bubba's shit is going to have a fricking parashoot!!!!! He can call it a steet truck all he wants!

A glide is no problem either.....could have one before 5 today that will hold whatever you want...old school transmissions and bad Ass convertors while you wait...
