I am about an hour northeast of Lexington (Morehead State, our most famous grad was Phil Simms if you like Football).
BG has a very nice track from what I hear.
I finally made some time today to get some mods done: my belltech springs and JBA exhaust. I'm probably gonna have RPM do my tranny in the next few weeks. I have to get a tuning program first, though. I'm gonna try to get them to do headers for me while the tranny is out, so I need to tune for that, and then remove some TM with the new tranny and stall in.
What all do you have going on with your SS (mods wise)?

Did you say you had the manual cut out? I have a QTP ele on my TA. I am somewhat concerned about durability of this long term on a DD. Mine seems like it is not closing as well as it used to and is allowing a little leakage. Nothing sounds worse than an exhaust leak.
I love opening the thing up and freakin' people out with the sound.
I'd say yours runs well then with all that stuff, your a 2wd right?

I've never been a fan of elec. cutouts, and of them. Both QTP and DHM have both had their problems, and the motors are known to die over time, which is what yours is doing I suspect. I've had a manual one on pretty much every car I've owned since 97'.
Yes, mine is a 2WD, and I have no idea how well it runs with all the new stuff. It went 13.98 @98 stock, then 13.76 @101 w/tune, CAI, cutout, and e-fans in 20* warmer weather than the 13.98 run. So, in good air, I'd like to see 12.90's.

Just dropping in saying hello, I'm from Mount Vernon, KY but stationed in Norfolk, Va (US Navy). Anyways glad to see a few TBSS's are on the KY forum.

Mt. Vernon...y'ought to come on up to Stanford some time you are "home". Kinda hard to be in the Navy living in KY...unless you are part of the Ohio Navy rolling into the empty Cumberland.

Sounds like a stout setup, have you been able to dyno it or run it at the track?
