anyone on long island want to do me a favor?
So my drivers side door does not work. Everything stopped working. Chevy is telling me i need a new door switch which is $433.00. Bullshit if you ask me. But i really dont believe my switch is bad because when i plug it into the passenger door, it rolls the windows down and locks the doors.
So how could it be bad right? Well im looking for someone that i can meet up with that would let me take 5 minutes of there time. I just want to unplug your drivers side switch and plug it into mine to see if that fixes it.
Need to have heated seats though. Thanks!
Oh and im located in farmingdale/bethpage.

come to queens. But if the switch works on the drive side, then it works, check your fuse, or you may have a shrot.

both switches work on the passenger side
neither switches work on the drivers side
I checked every fuse/relay in the car. Under the hood and under the back seat. I unhooked the battery and hooked it back up. didnt work.
Took it to chevy they told me its the master switch on the drivers door. $433.34 + tax to fix it. i told them GTFO

Did you check the plug near the door hinges? Maybe some how it unplugged....
Do the power mirrors still work?

yup, checked it all. And mirrors dont work either, which are not plugged into the master switch, so i dont see how it could be the switch. Although the mirriors and switch go to the same harness in the door jam.
I checked for power, the power wire and ground wire are both working that go to the switch so its gotta be something else??? IDK!
