just did this mod and it took all of 2 minutes, works beautifully! will post pics soon...thanks for all of those who helped...
to recap....
I put 35w 5000k HIDs from ddmtuning.com in my lows, highs, and fogs....
then I did the quad beam mod (Thanks to checo3423)
then i took some advice from jetttstream and Wrenched...
Remove connector from BCM, take off blue cover, then jumper like this:
E7 (pink) = = = = =[striped side]= = = = = [1N4003 DIODE]=====[non striped side]=====E11 (dark green/white)
Now I have done the 6 beam mod with 1 quick splice connector, 1 1n4003 diode, and about 3" of electrical tape...total cost is about $2.50. I love this forum.

Do you have the option of turning off the highs and fogs? Or are they all on all the time with this modification?

I can turn off the highs, they are only on when the lever is pushed forward. That said, however, if the headlights are on (lows or highs), you can not turn off the fogs, but why would you want to do that?

So if you do the lancematic way at the beginning of this thread you will accomplish the drl's off and the auto lights will come on, correct?? Looking to do this mod first!!!
Ok so i did the mod for this it worked great. One question though is do you lose the perimeter lighting aspect? Where at night when you unlock the lights don't come on????

Ok I've been reading through loads of threads on the topic this morning and here is my plan, as I am adding HID Fogs and Low beams tomorrow.
1. DRL delete- relay method w/auto- with this mod, DRL's are totally cancelled, lows do not illuminate upon unlock, parking lots DO illuminate upon unlock, everything else works as normal.
2. Quad beams- Jumper method Pin F10 (car side) to E4 (tapped not cut): Hopefully, when stalk is pushed forward High beams turn on/ low beams stay on.
3. Fog light cancel(with highs) delete- Jump and diode isolate A4 to E11. Fogs work 100% as normal (from switch, no auto) and will stay on when high beams are turned on. (6 light method?) Hopefully fogs do not always turn on when high beams are turned on (if button on dash for the fogs is "off").
In summary, I want the lights to work automatically and from the switches as close to normally as possible with two major changes- DRL delete and highs never cause the lows/fogs to "flash" off- or on for that matter.
With the three mod's listed above, will I experience and unwanted side-effects? Such as fogs go on whenever high beams are on, or lights don't auto-off when i exit the vehicle.... anything quirky like that I should know about?
Thanks for the great info guys,
Mike

I am confused since so many posts say different ways to do it. This is a pic of the DRL killer from jetttstream can anyone tell me which wires go where? I dont know which wires from the relay go to the wires in the truck. Also i have a red cable that is about 9 inches long that came with the DRL killer that i dont know what to do with "not pictured". Please Help!!

Sorry for bringing up an old thread. I installed the jettstream drl killer with quad and fogs in 2010 and have had no issues until now and for some reason the fogs stopped working. I swapped the hid bulb and ballast and still no fogs. Anybody have any ideas? Checked all fuses I could find associated with the fog lights also. I appreciate any help. Thanks
