Mine are 26" tall or right around it. 245/45r17. Same exact setup that Marty ran when he set the record. But I'm pretty sure they will not benefit Walter's setup...
Edit.. And Marty brought this up to me. I just figured I'd pass it on to you Walt.
Lol @ selling g-tech!

Inulated the lines days ago........ Thought that was in one of my posts.
Springs are done, going out to test now. If anybody wants the other 8 springs, let me know......... Intake springs went on real nice. So I have another 8 left for someone else!

Okay, no more missing, or popping. That is the good news. Now I do have a question. What type of IAT's are you guys seeing that run turbos. I know that Im sucking hot underhood air til I make my cold air setup, but by the end of the run it hit 160 degrees IAT. The bad part was that it was running -14 degrees of timing!! Being that I only run 6 degrees to begin with, that means it pulled 20 degrees from the IAT's being too high. Boy was it a slug in 3rd gear, even the A/F was rich from not burning the fuel. First gear A/F was good, 2nd was richer, but 3rd got really rich, like 10.0!! Anyways, short stabs of the gas are great, as long as I dont let the IATs get too high. Will get it fixed soon, and then its on to the DYNO!! Got the $75 all stashed away. I assume that its okay to post the dyno results without getting reamed right? So no more tuning til I get the cold air in. Even thats goona have to wait, as its going to the tranny shop tommorow. Oh well, plenty of time later in the week.
@Glocksrfun - got your PM about your niece, will let you know when I do my next round of tuning so you can videotape it.

I hit 160* IAT's by the end of the 1/4. I know two different animals, but that's what I log.
And you didn't answer about the springs...I hope you were kidding.

LOL, ya I was kidding. So whats your timing at by the end of the 1/4?
Im assuming yours is sucking cold air as well. So the chiller must be doing wonders, as its probably sucking in 130+ degree air to begin with.

I'm insure of my timing, I'd have to go look at logs. But my intake draws right from the engine bay.... I've attached a picture To show where it's at. you can't see the filter itself, but at the lower left corner of the picture you can see the connection point. I did nothing special.

Yes....We are building a Custom Stainless Tank to mount up front currently....That was a temporary measure to simply drive the truck.
You do remember....This isnt a DD truck.
