HELP!!! Saab 9-7X Headlight Bracket NEEDED!
I am in desperate need of a passenger side headlight bracket for my 2008 Saab 9-7x Aero w/HID lamps. I had a blowout on the highway which ruined my front bumper, passenger fender, headlight, headlight bracket, door, and rocker panel. The insurance has already covered it all and has been at a Chevy dealership for 3 weeks now. Everything is done except that they cannot find the plastic headlight bracket to put everything back together. If anyone has one or knows where I can find one, please let me know. I'm not sure if the bracket off another trailvoy will work.
Thanks in advance!

No, its the large plastic "frame" behind the headlamps to hold it up.

Apparently not. I was told that GM was going to continue to make Saab parts for 10 years but i guess that was all BS. The only dealership in Dallas that WAS honoring the warranty was Sewell Cadillac. When I called them about this accident I had, they said they will "pass" on my Saab cause they were no longer selling Saab parts and no longer working on them.

M_Mniz works at an ACDelco distributor and said a lady from GM called. They said they may have some ready at the plant and will start shipping them next week.

GM called and they told me to fuck my self, Saab is hiding behind a chair, and I'm still car-less.
Oscar, any word on your friend making them?

Try saabpartscheap.com they are a division of Hendricks motorsports, and they list brackets for the headlights on the website. Dont know if they have them in stock, but....?

Tried everywhere, no one has it in stock. I finally picked up my Saab from the dealership right now. They put the old bracket in to hold the bumper but they didn't install the headlight. I just found a headlight with a bracket on ebay but the top left corner is cracked. I went ahead and bought it though. The guy showed me pics and they also glued it for me. GM-Saab Customer Service Division just called me, they said they are trying to push GM into making one for me but no luck yet.

Any chance its the same one from the Oldsmobile version? I know my brother was talking to someone who needs a part from the wiper assembly, and its different than the TBSS version, and again-no one has one! I think its time to start filing claims in small claims court against GM. I'll be damned if I start fixing my car with used parts.

Well ain't that a bitch?! The dealership called me yesterday afternoon to let me know that a new bracket showed up. They said that it just showed up without notice that it was being shipped out. The problem now is that I already picked up the Saab on Friday and they already discounted the price of the bracket on the deductible. They put the original broken bracket in just so they could put the bumper back on without the headlight; and for me to pick it up. I even installed the headlight on the broken bracket over the weekend so i could drive it. Plus, i already paid $500 for another headlight with a cracked bracket (but complete) that i found used on ebay. =( Either way, I went ahead and picked up the new one from them. I'll be installing it myself now i guess.
