Id go with a custom grind. tell Alvin exactly what you have in mind, what your future goals are and he will spec it out accordingly. that way you only have to buy one cam. when ever you go FI you're already set up.
Alvin speced my cam and i could not be more happy the thing is a beast.

For what I'm wanting to do I think a rob style would be all that I would need. Doing a custom grind gets me a lil nervous, due to the fact everything else would have to be in tune with it. Couldn't just download a tune and throw it in there, would have to get someone (Alvin) do a custom tune.
