What does horsepower have to do with a system designed to stop you from flipping over?

I pulled fuse 61 and took a drive. Stabilitrak didn't activate but the scrapey noises are still there. Hard to hear, sorry.

the ETC table in the engine tab and all that MUST be maxed at 100% or the maxx TQ number for every single peramiter you have access to.....
my entire tune is maxed in every area in the tune and i started playing with it and found some STALL tables in the trans that will also HOLD YOU BACK.....go in your tune and maxx all that chit out and if it is a window then raise the window way past your range if you want to NIX it or way under your window if you want it ALWAYS ON.....in the tune there are areas to be ALWAYS ON as well as areas you will want ALWAYS OFF.....but it it is range/window then the values MUST be a range/window or it will cause a HICUP in the tune....BEEN THERE........
i was at the point the tune was TAKING tming in all kinds of places and it was going into this UNDER POWER MODE but never required a restart to reset......and this was all occuring with the stock motor on the nitrous....i just figured it was do to the 4.56 gears.....GUESS NOT........
try this and let us know....

Are you sure it's not something in your exhaust? Maybe a heat shield rubbing or something?

I'm not sure at all what it is, sounds like a scrape noise moreso than a rattle. I'll get under there and see if I can't wiggle stuff to repeat it.

Also have the Stabilitrak issue but only when my husband drives, which is weird.. I work at a Chevy Dealership and they advised if it gets more frequent then a code should be thrown, but as of yesterday no codes were thrown on the techII.. So from my stand point it's a waiting game really... Hopefully it's something that can be fixed because it annoys the crap out of me!!

Today I went fucking Hulk mode and muscled off the dust shield and it doesn't make the scrapey noise anymore. I bent the wrong side away from the rotor last time; this time there won't be a next time.
(My dremel broke and I don't have any friends or I would have used one)

It would be nice if you could have a tech2 or other tester to watch wheel speed values when this occurs.
Kinda sounds like an intermittently failing wheel speed sensor... Perhaps its giving a false signal to the abs module and the abs module/engine control module are reducing engine power to prevent an accident...
I suppose a steering angle sensor could do the same thing. False signals causing the abs/ecm to override engine operation...
Might be worth paying the dealer to diagnose it...
Good luck!

Sorry for not updating. About 3 months ago I replaced the front hubs with cheap chinese shit ($83/pair shipped) from Callahan and haven't had a single problem since. Compared to $560/pair GM/Timkin hubs I figured it was worth taking the chance.

My stabilatrac will randomly kick on for a few seconds every once in a while. My buddy has a shop and he scanned the computer with the latest snap on tool. He said the electronic brake control module had to be reprogrammed. So I had that done. It didnt help. There was a code for the steering wheel position sensor stored in the ecm. Has anybody replaced that sensor? Thanks.

We should start sending messages to GM customer service and let them know about the problem and the real danger it is putting people in. Maybe we can foerce the issue of a recall or tsb.
BTW, I'm sending my message as soon as soon as I log off.

No, I only noticed it before my tune, when it was completely stock, and haven't seen it happen at all since I tuned it.
