Over Memorial day weekend I towed my buddy's 21' Reinell w/ tower and full sound system, truck and boat literally full of coolers, firewood and camping gear galore, w/ 5 adults... Just had a warrantied fresh rebuild of the trans, added a Circle D 3200 stall and FMS stage II trans kit w/ cooler and trans temp gauge directly in pan. First time I pulled the pass it was 80F, took her nice and easy 50-60mph Temps didn't go above 180, Coming home I was a little more confident and cruised easily at 70mph temps were even lower but air tempt was in the mid 50's.. The thing felt like it would've done 85 if I had asked it too but I didn't wanna push my luck.

It's a 93 VR6 w only 57K miles on the clock. it needs some work but so far nothing major. this is my 2nd one. my 1st was also a VR6 that I sold back in 2007 to buy the SS. Now I'm back into a Corrado for a commute car.

Thanks...that's definitely my favorite and has the most invested in it. Now if I could only get out to ride some more woods on it. The Kawasaki gets the most action as it is much easier and closer to just go to one of Houston's many local tracks.

So with the factory air bags, do those that tow heavier amounts (6000 lbs give or take a couple hundred) not need the WD hitches or recommend not getting them? Obviously with that amount of weight, other factors such as how you distribute weight inside the trailer plays a huge factor and tongue weight.
I am upgraded from an open light weight trailer that tows my race bike only, and all gear, tools, and such inside the SS.... to a 19' enclosed dual axle, brakes, etc with up to 4 race bikes and all gear, tools, generators etc. I estimate generously at 6k lbs total or slightly less. A friend recommended an anti sway hitch..... Any recommendations from those that have towed 6k in weight on here?

Nothing beats towing your camper to your favorite spot to do a little fishing with the kids.
