I have done that at least twice here, just driving out of my subdivision after a two day rain spell.

That's a good deal you put together Alvin, I like the way you used the 4" and LS7 sensor. For me, I would not go through to the brake vent area...too many water puddles down here.
You know...I think I just made my mind up on what/when I will finally do a CAI...fuck the MAF, I'm going to throw it in a box somewhere and do straight 4" pipe to filter and a radio shack thermistor for IAT sensor. Mostly because I am tired of stupid MAF restriction and I can get it responding so much better with the MAF failed and running SD mode.
Of course, this will be after a while, sometime after the warranty or when the stock MAF dies (which ever happens first).

Don't try to cross a river and you'll be fine. Vettes, camaros, mustangs all at one point had their intake/filter lower than where I have put mine.

Yeah...that's the problem, when it rains down here, some roads I have to cross turn into rivers, like the road going to my driveway. (It has seriously been deeper than my fog lights before.)

Im assuming 99% of people dont have to deal with driving the oregon trail, fording rivers, and risking death from cholera. Not every part is going to work for every application. Obviously, you are one of them!
