Thanks so much! Yes leaving it textured.Using Dupli-Color adhesion primer(very important!)http://www.duplicolor.com/products/adhesionPromoter/ 1 drop coat 30% coverage,2nd 70% coverage,3rd full coverage. Then regular primer.Coverage is always done in that manner.Even with clear. After that 3rd coat its up to you how much clear you want on it to allow for sanding/buffing.Fallowing manufacturers dry time is a must.I use water based Auto-Air paint for everything else.40 sec flash off then its ready for masking.Very quick to work with.Only prep I do is degrees with simple green before painting with the adhesion primer. No need for sanding since its very textured.Do sand lightly after your final coat with regular primer with 600.Auto-air paint require`s no sanding since its a mechanical bond vrs chemical.Ebay had loads of good stencils to help you get your work started.Find air-sick on Ebay he has nice stencils. Here is a vid on how fast you can work with Auti-air water based paints.Have fun!http://youtu.be/BVYd_xzRe3E
