2nd Summertime Norwester GTG time!
Despite the irony that the guy working 7 days a week and failing at owning an SS is suggesting this, but I am.
The weather here has finally granted us the pleasure of what we call summer (known typically as raining less than 3 days a week), and with the multiple new additions, including Joe's Turbo, a few tunes, Doug's near 11 second SSS, Duff's new LS3, etc. etc., I think it's time we found a way to show this new gear off.
I know there are a couple people who would like to get track times and tweak their tunes as well, which I think would be great fun, if we can find a good location.
Now, as for dates and locations, discuss. I'm down for traveling, fwiw.

Not yet... trying to get the tranny done first. Should be soon just trying to decide what route to go.

I suggest a route that makes you go faster. You might find out who did Doug's, as I think it was local, and that thing is tough.

I am open, the only thing I have planned is getting my TBSS running. I am getting close... so close I can almost smell the exhaust and hear the turbo spooling...

im just going to let it go. if i let them order the cam i would be all over it. this company i found out later has a bad reputation and not standing by their work. they would just tell me it was cam that caused the failure. my block has a hole a loaf of bread could fit through on the passenger side. on the drivers side it looks like i punched two holes through the block with my fist. the installer of my new motor said it was the 2nd worst blown motor he has ever seen, the other was a track only motor. my installer had a infected tooth, his jaw swelled up. he has not really worked on my truck for a couple days. hopefully i will get a base tune next wednesday, break in the motor then dyno tune down in auburn somewhere on a awd dyno.

Is that Speed Secrets dyno? They do good LS2 work...so does Blood, but both are pricey.
There is an AWD dyno in Ballard that fits a TBSS, and also one in Redmond. I use the guys in Ballard...$125 for 3 runs and a 1/4 mile on a Mustang dyno.
Keep us posted.

yeah i know, nothing is cheap. i also ended up staying with my yank ss4000 stall so it will probably dyno less hp than if i had a lower rpm stall. although, i will be faster out of the hole.

If we get a date I may be able to make it. I'll be working over in Silverdale for about 3 mos. and could take the SS one week.

i have been driving it took it back for 1000 mile oil change. small tweaks here and there. replace bad o2 sensor, check for exhaust leaks. trifecta performance is the one that is dialing in my tune. at the dyno was having trouble with the abs kicking in. went with a rolling tune.

Any objections to 9/6? We'll find a location halfway between Seattle and Portland?
