There have been many people that are either new to forums or maybe just a little lazy to try and figure it out on their own, but I thought I would make a post to explain how to put a picture in their posts.
You cannot load pictures in your post from your own computer unless you attach it to the post. If you want the picture to show up, you need to follow these steps.
1. You will need a place to host the pictures on the internet. If you do not have your own server space from your internet provider, you can get an account of several free photo hosting sites:
a.
Photobucket.com
b.
Imageshack.us
c.
webshots.com
Are just a few, but we will use Photobucket for this example.
2. Once you get an account and upload your images to the site, the image will have a
"Direct Link" associated to it, such as "http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn146/tom_camp/newtrailblazer.jpg"
3. When making your thread or post and you want to insert a picture, just click on the

icon at the top part of the message box and enter the link in the popup entry box and then press OK.
Here is the what the pop up box looks like:
All the other information will be taken care of after that. The software will re size if necessary to fit within our limits. The picture will show up in your post as a picture and not an attachment.
