Greg Ducato Phoenix Transmission A+++++++++Best Customer Service Ever!
I will try to make a long story short!
2 weeks ago Sunday, while in K/C for tuning with Justin from Black Bear Performance, my TBSS transmission decided to give up the ghost!
I called Greg (remember it is a Sunday) on his # posted on his site and he answered!! After picking myself off the ground in total shock, I proceeded to tell him what happened and that I only had 4th gear (Justin was able to electronically enable 4th with his software) Greg said to get the transmission out and over to him ASAP and he would Get R Done quick!
Thank-God for forum members that drop everything to help! I called Larry (PWR trip) and he met me at an auto place and arraigned a flatbed to come get me and take my TBSS to Ronnie’s (rolnlow)! Got my TBSS over to Ronnie’s and Ty (Thade) and Tab (Mommie Ty) got in their TBSS and drove to KC to help Ronnie pull the transmission! (Did I mention I was sick as hell and never should have made the trip at all???) Larry took me to get a Rental Car (Ford Fusion) and I drove my sick ass all they way home to Bentonville Ar.
No sooner do I get home and Ty calls me to tell me they got my transmission out and the output shaft had sheared right off (said it looked like a knife cut it)! Next morning Ronnie crated my trans (thanks Ronnie) and took it to the freight depot!
Greg had made arrangements to have my trans picked up and shipped back!
Wednesday afternoon Greg calls me and tells me he has my trans apart and everything inside looks like Brand New except the Reverse Drum (warped when engine over revved when shaft snapped)! He then told me he was putting her back together with a BILLET OUTPUT SHAFT at No charge!!! (I was short on funds and Mrs. SSSkach was not happy about my trip to begin with)
Well I about fell out of my chair when Greg told me that! He said, “When you had me build your trans 2 yrs ago, I used a Cryoed Shaft as that was the best you could get then. So I am giving you the Billet Shaft at No-Charge since you wanted it built to last!” Dammm that is the best customer service I have ever had!
Long story short, Ronnie got the trans back Friday a.m. and he, Ty and Larry put her back in and got her back on the road! Less then 1 week to get it shipped there and back and Greg covered ALL costs and charged me NOTHING!
To make it even better Ronnie's (rolnlow) transmission had goon BOOM on him a few weeks back and he was trying to get a pump to finish it up but he kept getting the wrong one! Greg put the pieces that Ronnie was missing in the crate with my Transmission & converter and did not charge him a thing!! All he said was "I am just paying it forword"
That is the icing on the cake for me! Thanks Greg
Needless to say I want to thank Greg at Phoenix Transmission for making a bad day turn into sunshine! If you ever need Transmission work this is YOUR Man that stands behind his product and takes care of the customer 1st!

Greg has been building transmissions for me for years. I was able to get one SSR customer over to him a few years back and he has been on the sites (SSR and TBSS) taking care of everyone since. He has the customer service that we as business owners and vehicle owners ask for. I have his transmission in my TBSS and I can tell you this, we have run it hard in testing and the dyno.
When we first did the MP122HH build we spent 2.5 days on the dyno on a custom dyno transmission tune. We had it in 3rd by 18 mph and locked the converter at 28 mph then full WOT pulls to 141 mph. We pulled it over and over on a Mustang dyno and never once did his converter or transmission skip a beat.

Aw shucks fella's, I appreciate the accolades but I'm just doing my job. I was very impressed by all the people that pitched in time and effort to help Dave out. That is the kind of enthusiast community a person can be very proud to be a part of, and we should all be thankful for the support of all the folks on this forum.
