have a friend that is local to your wife... ( a good one....) swap the stock airbox back in and take it to the dealer...

instead of posting from across the country, remove all variables, and have her take it in.. not only will it be easier for you, but her also....

the code just explained exactly what was wrong. along with some of the other members. lean means you are getting too much air, and not enough fuel. rich means you are getting too much fuel and not enough air. the ieatSRT8 intakes are known to be nicer intakes with little to no air resistance. and like another member state some people can install intakes without tune just fine. others have codes pop up. get a tune and the codé should go away for good. if u dont want to get a tuné yet just swap to the stock intake for now. good luck!

Our intake will work with the stock programming however there is a chance it will through a lean code under hard wide open throttle driving. The intake does make more power than the stock unit obviously so it does lean out the fuel trims. Typically it is within the range that a CEL will not occur. Based on the lean bank code a performance tune will correct your problem.

Take the intake off and dont put it back on until you get it tuned.

There is no reason to run an aftermarket intake without a tune. If you are away you are just asking for trouble with the dealer if your wife has to take it in.
