Per Tony's request for a seperate thread on the 1st annual 2010 Texas Southern Fall Regional meet, here it is.

The Date: October 1-3
(some are coming in a day earlier, 9/29, to go to Seaworld)

Location:Holiday Inn on the Riverwalk -San Antonio,TX

Address: 217 N St. Mary's St., San Antonio, TX 78205

Room rate: $99 per night, plus $9 parking,Taxes, fees=$115.68

Friday: After 12:00 SeaWorld for those who want to go. Barrett aka Bsstb has info on coupons etc.
Evening:Hangout at Biff Bisbys car meet east of SA or the H I parking lot or a little of both.

Saurday: open to suggestions
Evening: Midnight Madness at San Antonio Raceway

Gates open at 8pm and racing is from 9pm - 2am.
Track costs are 15$ a truck to race

Friday night alot of us are going out to the bars on the river walk


Sat night after the track i will be having a good time in the Holiday inn parking lot.



We also need a set time for all to meet up at the hotel friday evening to say hi to each and talk out some plans in person.

Well that can't really happen sat night. Track closes at 2 and so do the bars. I for one do not plan on being at the track till it closes though.

Tony, the airport code is SAT if you're looking at tickets and such. The car rental places are off-site, most are off either Jones-Maltsberger or Airport Blvd, depending on who you go with. All have shuttles to/from, though, so you're golden.

What day/time are you looking to fly in?

I'll be staying at least FRI and SAT in the Hotel. I am driving. I am also hitting the Biff's meet on FRI PM, after mingling for a bit. For anyone interested, the Biff's meet is the place to be on FRI PMs in SATX. Lots of Vettes and Muscle.

FYI..... Texas aint the south. South of the Mason Dixon Line, and East of the Mississippi.... You boys need a better school system! Though, I can say this, as I'm from North Florida, which is more like southern GA....

I'll try to make it Saturday(using my rewards for Best Western though), but will be going directly from there Sunday to Cruisin the Coast in Southern Mississippi for the entire next week. Is anyone else going to be able to make it to both? Cruisin is a few thousand classic and highly modded cars on the coast the entire week if anyone was wondering. Almost like a weeklong party of old cars and casinos.

P.S. That well endowed chick dancing around makes me feel like a cat watching a tennis match. Thanks Retro.
