I doubt he has a mendrel bender in his garage though.
OP you made 3 threads for this? Check out exhaust works in Naperville off Ogden. Reasonable prices and can simply "walk in" without appointment.

Not sure what that is but hes a master mechanic and runs a shop so he has just about every tool to get any job done!

lol it bends pipe without crimping/reducing diameter of the pipe. most shops dont have them unless they simply do exhaust work.

Most run of the mill exhaust shops dont have a mandrel bender either. It just isn't necessary for 90% of the work they do. Only performance guys even care or know the difference and they aren't cheap.
It's usually cheaper to chop up pre fabbed bends and do more welding.

In 1975 an engineer friend of mine modified the headers and built a custom exhaust for my 240Z. To make the bends, he cut out a notch in the pipe and rewelded it together in order to avoid reducing the diameter by bending the pipe. This was in his driveway. Still on the car 36 years and 100K miles later.

If only replacing the muffler, what pipe do you need bent?
Cut muffler out, weld new one in. Cut tip off, weld new one on.
No tubing needed.

The stock muffler is quite larger than the new one maybe 10inchs so im going to need some pipe to fit the gap...

Yeah but it doesn't have to be bent.
Someone offered their help. I would go buy some pipe and some beer and go take him up on it.
