Amazon is great to deal with... Just realize these are 'Cheap' Headers...

You'll need a Y-pipe too:

So what did you guys use between the header and the y pipe, the stock cats? There is no flange on the headers....? It looks like with this setup the y pipe slip fits onto the headers? Someone please clarify. Thanks

Nate

the y slip fits, and you use wide strap style exhaust clamps to clamp it.

the y bolts up to the factory catback.

i have pacesetters that i sent to nitro plate in nashville www.nitroplate.com and had coated. they fit great, and do the job i need them to do.. the ONLY issue i had with them was the drivers side o2 sensor bung puts the sensor very close to the floor.. we slightly (1/2" at most) dimpled the floor to be sure there were no issues.

id buy em again in a heartbeat... and i also got them from amazon.

I have the armor coated headers and love them. I wouldn't let anyone tell you not to buy these but I would definitely spend the extra money on the coated headers.

There are no cats used in that particular Pacesetter setup. You are correct that the Y slip-fits onto the header collectors.

I have had PaceSetter headers on my dodge for 3years ceramic coated and look great to this day. As soon as I get the cash PaceSetter will be on the SS w/cutouts and stock muffler. The "4hp" kooks say they make over PS is not worth the $600 extra.
