Ok time to raise this from the dead
Couple of updates:
Motor is completely paid off on. Woohoo finally got there. Motor should be going into the truck next month. Did get a return on the fast intake should be getting a new one on it next couple of weeks. I will update this thread with pics of the install when I get them.
Only parts remaining to purchase are:
- Cat back with x pipe (prob going to go custom with dumps in front of the rear axle
- Various lines and hoses
- Fabrication of coil mounting solution
- CAI (custom fabrication from Bolt on Speed)
- Modification of current Headers to clear LSX block and coating
Trans got upgraded to full level 7 during last refresh so that is as good as I can do right now without a 4L80. Stall is back and set for 4000 with a shot of N20. Also did get a nano full kit with 102mm plate. I will need to buy some things to go with that kit to make it a bit safer but no big items. I will take pics of the N2O kit and the plate sometime soon (work is killing me right now).

Question...why will you have to modify headers? Unless this is a tall block?

6-bolt heads cause the issue as I don't think there is an off the shelf header available.

The Bolt pattern on the heads should fit all availablee headers was my understanding. I dont know why the 6 bolts cauae any issue to the header pattern.

The extra head bolt boss (6 bolt heads) hits on one spot drivers side with Kooks. I have 6 bolt heads but a 4 bolt block. Kooks are much better. The ARH they hit in about 4 spots on both sides...
