The ass of the VY C6 I had was always fuckin dirty, never again will I have a yellow vette lol. Sticking to silver.
If anything in your cooling system i.e. intercooler has aluminum in it, Meth and Aluminum do not play nice together, so if you planning on running a winterized washer fluid of some kind make sure it does not have meth in it, it will cause corrosion.

@ Damon - thanks for the tip. Is there an additive that could be put in with it to curb that? Im just goona run water for right now, but need a better solution before winter.
I wanna say the lowest water temp he has seen on a rainy day was VERY LOW 30's.....
Right now I have too many frickin electrical gremlins to fix before I redo my tune.... MAP is reading low, ETC TPS sensor acting goofy, etc. Then its tuning time, dyno time, and to get that famed 1/4 mile track time.
Already thinking of my phase two build thread - $800 more for a total of $3000, LS9 cam, springs, and head studs, then turn up the boost. That would be about $550, which leaves $250 left. That $250 is goona be for my homemade custom one off intake manifold that will flow 3600+ cfm @ 14psi. (4" flows 1800 cfm NA) Each cylinder will be fed with 2.5" which flows 521cfm each NA. Equal length runners with even airflow distribution should increase the airflow quite a bit, even at 14psi.
And if anyone is thinking I should hit goal one first, what makes you think I havent?
Cya @ the nats!!

@ Sleezy - Limp mode happened days after the A/F was dialed in, limp mode happened on the way home.
@ Spivitz - Im not saying what my truck runs, til I get a 1/4 mile slip to prove it. I should have some dyno numbers in a week or so.
To the rest, it runs between 10.1 and 11.9 with the stock verter in it.
Im not posting a time, and here is why:
1. If its a g-tech number you wouldnt believe it anyways
2. It would give a certain someone a number to shoot for
3. What it runs now, it would be at LEAST .6 faster with the 3600, why guess, right?
4. Im goona do a post with a poll and a prize to see who guesses closest. Winner gets a ride at the nats, a choice of a burger lunch @ nats on me, or a couple beers afterward.
5. It will just plain be faster at the nats than what it is now anyways.... Boosts goin up baby!

This should help with your intake:
http://www.mandrel-bends.com/catalog...b3a77173f8a6a4
I would bet they will be cheaper than Summit and you can buy 2 sets for $150.

I really honestly can't wait for the actual track numbers. There's been some trial and error... There's been some sketchy installations at times... There are some cheap, possibly poorly made chinese parts being used... Of course we can't leave out the reused TTY rod bolts(unless Walter is actually smarter than he leads us on to be and actually bought and installed Katech or ARP rod bolts however he left them out of his 'budget' because they just simply are too expensive... He's over confident that the TTY bolts will not fail. I bet he changed them because OVERALL this build is realistically planned out pretty damn well). I would definitely say that if he gets this thing dialed in and everything works as Walter has planned, its going to be fast.

Walter, your not a street racer, so the only reason you have not to post, is its Fucking slow.
I ain't shooting for shit Walter, until you catch me, and have proof, you'll always be just one step behind. And remember, I wasn't even trying, and you're just giving it all you got.
King out.
(BTW, I am Posting this from a real 1/4 mile track...where my truck Ran tonight....How about you? )

@Dowork - typo, should be dyno numbers ;-)
LOL @ the KING! Didnt know 13-14psi on a 40psi turbo was GIVING IT ALL IVE GOT!!!
Do they make a 1" pulley for you to do that? Or would you need a 18" crank pulley too?
Oh ya, thats right, you cant do that..... Isnt that called inefficiency? You paid how much?
I just hope the converter gets in before the nats is ALL I HAVE TO SAY!
Jaws will drop....

There will not be a maggie truck run 10 anything at nats!!!! There only 2 of them deep enough into the 10s that june/july heat may not slow them down all the way out of the 10 second bracket.
1 of them isnt coming and the other ones getting a MANS blower installed.
If Walters truck can run anthing between 11.2-11.5 he got a shot to beat anybody there..
