in those pics they are 255/60-15's... i now have a 275/60-15 on it.
they both hook awesome... i needed a set of tires at the last nmca race i went to, and they were out of 255's... so they sold me the 275's at the same price. they are great on the street, and dont wander like the m&h's i have on my truck.
car used to have 4.56's now they are 3.73. i lost 3 thousandths in the 60' going to the lower number gear, but picked up 4 mph, and nearly 3 tenths... i shift it at 7,200 rpm, and go through the traps around 5500-6000

ok, id have to stay with a lower gear. your big block has alot more torque than my small block. i'd like to trap around 6,500-6,800, as ill be shifting at 7,500.
right now i have shitty NT555R's on my nova, and it wont hook. i have 4.10 in the 10 bolt thats in it now, but im on my seond one.
i think ill go with a 4.56 in my 12 bolt.... thanks!

id stick the tallest tire you can fit in that thing if you run a 4.56...
i HATED the ones i had... the car sucked to drive anywhere... but left like you pushed it out of an airplane...
3.90, 4.11, 4.30 is about as high as i would go on the street...
only reason i went with a 3.73 is because i planned on spraying this thing.. and didnt want to run out of gear at 1000' like i was doing with the 4.56
plus it seems to like them, and i can drive the car down the highway at 60 ish mph.

Hmmm 4.30's sound good too.... I'm not too concerned with streetability cause I run 112 octane in it, which is expensive to say the least. And the cam in it is pretty hefty for what it is. It's a solid roller 264/271 duration with 630/630 lift

for a light car, with an aluminum headed small block... i just dont see the need for that much gear. id stick with the screw you have in it now, and see how it works...

Just saw this Greg and must say that is a very nice stable of vehicles! Love the TA and of course your TBSS. I owned 3 TAs and they are awesome especially with the manual 6 spd.
